Technology Across Learning Environments for New Teachers [TALENT] is
an initiative headed by the College of Education at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign that will investigate
the most effective means for integrating technology in the preparation and practice of new teachers.
TALENT is funded as part of the Preparing Tomorrow's Teachers to Use Technology [PT3] program. The PT3
program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education and seeks to support innovative programs to develop
technology-proficient educators who are well prepared to meet the needs of 21st century learners.
